Norma Victoria Chávez

Norma Victoria Chávez - Founder

A teacher by vocation, a visionary woman of strong character and determination. Founder of Happy Days – Freedom Bilingual School and Institute, a firm believer in God, family, and values-based education. Mrs. Chávez founded this educational institution under the motto "Donde cada alumno es importante".

She firmly believed in every teacher, whom she felt should be provided with a safe environment, both physically and emotionally, making that space an opportunity for professional growth, always grounded in responsibility and ethics.

Her work philosophy focused on developing students’ competencies and skills through quality education, so that each of them would have the tools to solve real-life problems.

Likewise, she identified herself as an innovative educator, adapting to change according to the needs of a society in constant cultural, scientific, and technological evolution. She always worked as a team toward a single goal: the formation of young leaders, researchers, creative, proactive individuals with strong values.

This invaluable educator believed in the school–family bond, knowing every father and mother represented in this educational institution. Every morning she welcomed her faithful children and adolescents with a smile, teaching them values of respect and commitment through her example of punctuality and greeting.

As a promoter of many community support projects, she showed solidarity with hospices, nursing homes, and schools, where her helping hand was always present. She firmly believed that education is the foundation of developed societies; therefore, she constantly sought to provide the highest level of education, aligned with the needs and budgets of many Honduran families.

Mrs. Chávez and her legacy live on in this institution—in the hearts, ideas, dreams, and expectations of our educational community.
