The Superintendent of Happy Days & Freedom gives you the warmest welcome and wishes blessings in each
of the homes that make up the Happy Days & Freedom family.

We would like to share some of our historical overview; What is the school? When was it founded? Its Vision, Mission, Goals, Objectives.  We feel so proud and blessed that you chose us for the comprehensive education of your children.

As an education institution we do not consider ourselves as another alternative, we consider ourselves to be the best choice to be a part of the up-bringing of your children, because our commitment is academic, artistic, athletic excellence and positive character traits.

Happy Days & Freedom was founded in 1982 as a bilingual private school.

We currently have the following three levels of education that serve students from 3-17 years of age:

  • PRE-SCHOOL : Day Care (3 years) ; Prekinder (4 years) ; Kinder (5 years)
  • ELEMENTARY: 1st to 6th grade
  • HIGH SCHOOL: 7th to 11th grade

The campus is located on 16 acres in the northwestern sector of San Pedro Sula, near the community of El Zapotal and the village of El Retiro. We have an ample and modern infrastructure with all the services that current pedagogy requires.

The main purpose of Happy Days & Freedom in the words of our mission is to “Provide the tools, resources, research based strategies and educational practices necesary for our students to develop their potential within a safe environment where they feel appreciated."

We deliver what we promise, which is discipline, honesty, liberty and we strengthen moral values that are instilled in the homes of our students.

Our school motto says: "Where every student is important” because we consider our students as individuals to whom we must provide a comprehensive and balanced education.  We offer our certified and licensed teachers, an accredited school where  standards are demanded, lesson plans, a curriculum approved by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), a service program to our community, diverse student programs with the Association of American Schools of Central America (AASC) and Bilingual Schools Association of Honduras (ABSH), activities, services, technology, sports, knowledge of science, humanities, values that enrich their education; we also offer assistance to access foreign universities.

Our goal is not only to form able citizens; it goes beyond; we are forming thinking entities who will be able to make decisions, are creative and innovative. These traits will make them the future entrepreneurs and  leaders that our country needs.

We reaffirm that we have a commitment to God, parents, students and our community.
